The Pactor Detector is a big part of the SoundDetector program. It makes possible the automatic control of the AirMail program connection process by determining if a select channel is busy, noisy or free.
The SoundDetector program interfaces with several portions of the AirMail program to make the automatic connection process possible. It uses the AirMail program to control the modem, transceiver and connection process.
